Stop for a Break in Telegraph Point

If you’re travelling along the highway over the school holidays, Telegraph Point is the perfect place to take a break without slowing your travel time. On the beautiful Mid North Coast halfway between Sydney and the QLD border, you can take a break with a quick stop at Ricardoes Tomatoes to pick some strawberries, wear the kids out with a session at Stoney Aqua Park, or take a stroll along the Wilson River at Log Wharf Reserve.
Just 5 minutes off the highway north of Port Macquarie, the Telegraph Point Sports Club is a great spot to stop for lunch. You’ll love the relaxing atmosphere with fast meals and a cold drink. Plus, the Telegraph Point Service Station has the cheapest fuel on the highway on the Mid North Coast.
If you’re spending the night, or staying a little longer, there’s plenty to do in Telegraph Point. Just 15 minutes from the beaches at Port Macquarie, and on the doorstep to the beautiful Cairncross State Forest, Cobrabald Creek, and Kippara camp grounds.
Find out what’s on and plan your perfect rural short break on the Mid North Coast.
There’s plenty happening at the Club!
The Telegraph Point Sports and Recreation Club is Covid-safe and open for business. Opening hours over the holidays are Wednesday to Sunday, 11:30am to 10:30pm. The Club offers dine-in meals and take away with popular pizzas, chicken schnitzel, BBQ ribs, burgers, and more.
Lunch is served between 12:00 and 2:00pm.
Dine in for dinner between 5:30 and 7:30pm.
Take away dinners between 5:30 and 6:30pm (excl. Friday nights).

Numbers for seating at the Club are limited, so ring and book a table. Now that the gorgeous spring weather is here, there is additional seating on the verandah for another 20 people plus space outdoors on the open grassed area – a great place for families.
During Covid lock-down, staff painted the front verandah to brighten it up, and what a difference it’s made! The garden and yards are currently being spruced up, with extra seating areas and a few potted plants being placed around to brighten it all.
What's On Each Week
On Wednesdays, the Home Ice Cream van is in the club carpark around 3 pm.
Wednesday night is the popular Pool Comp with prizes for first and second place.
Thursday night is a fun family night with Trivia. Register your team by 6pm for a 6:30 start. Lots of laughs plus prizes for the winning teams.
The regular Sports Club Meat Raffles are held on Friday nights with tickets on sale from 5:30. The first prize draw starts at 6:30. The trays are better than ever and include meat trays plus popular fruit boxes & vegie boxes, plus you might score a special cash prize. Tickets can be prepaid with winners notified after the draw.
The Club’s fruit and vege boxes are supplied by Ken Little (who also supplies Adam with the fresh produce in the bistro). Port Meat Store at Clifton shops now provides the meat trays and the quality is fabulous.
The Telegraph Point Sports and Recreation Club is proud to be the centre of the Telegraph Point Community. A comfortable and enjoyable place where visitors and locals can meet for a beer or a meal with friends. Call in and say hello.

I really like this page. I was searching the net for a contact number for a local and this came up in my search.
