GIVIT Requests & Donations
Telegraph Point Community Association has partnered with Port Macquarie Sunrise Rotary to help with processing GIVIT Request Forms. We are happy to announce that as at mid June, Rotary Sunrise and GIVIT have successfully matched requests with donations/vouchers and we have been able to assist 8 local families totalling over $16,000.
We want to be able to help more residents who have been impacted.
Please complete the below GIVIT Request Form and either forward to tpca@gmail.com or to secretary@sunrise-rotary.org.au or collect a Request Form from Therese at the Post Office or from Sue or Gaylene, we are waiting to help you fill out the forms. Email Gaylene or Sue at tpcamail@gmail.com and they will be in contact.
The GIVIT organisation works with the New South Wales Government in areas across the state which have seen widespread destruction from flooding or bushfires. They are currently managing donations in our area to help families whose homes have been left uninhabitable or substantially damaged, or who have lost furniture, whitegoods, bedding, or work equipment. You can learn more about GIVIT on their website. Please note that GIVIT don’t fund non-essential items such as dishwashers, dryers and TVs.
