Neighbourhood Safer Place

$59,485 of Federal funding is on the way to Rollands Plains Hall after it was designated a NSW RFS Neighbourhood Safer Place. A Neighbourhood Safer Place is a location where people can gather and seek shelter during a bushfire.
To ensure Rollands Plains Hall can appropriately accommodate evacuees, the Federal Government is funding the construction of a new outdoor eating and meeting area. This will ensure the Rollands Plains community is able to brave any emergency.

A New Children's Playground

A new children's playground will also be constructed at the Rollands Plains Reserve by the local RP community group, weather permitting, from the 26th February. David Nosworthy has levelled the site and Mat Burling is contracted to do the overall construction.
Assistance from any locals willing to help is needed for standing posts, wheelbarrowing and spreading crusher dust. If you are able to help please contact rollandsplainsreview@yahoo.com.au
