The School of Arts Community Hall was rebuilt in 1933 on the northern side of the Wilson River after the original hall burnt down.

The hall has been an essential staging point for the community since April to assist local flood recovery efforts.
If you would like to donate to the hall to assist in providing help direct to the community both during the flood recovery period and as an on-going resource in our community, bank details are:

The local hall is maintained and upgraded from income generated by hall hire, donations and special community events. All maintenance is carried out by volunteer labour.
The Association has spent many hours doing up our Hall so it is a pleasant, comfortable and competitively priced place for hire. After successfully obtaining a number of funding grants, we have been able to purchase many items to cater for all types of functions. These might be a small luncheon or community dinner for 20, up to a large wedding reception for 100 people.
To dress up our tables and chairs, we have recently purchased plain white chair covers with a selection of different coloured chair ties for hire to make your special day just that much nicer.
These photos show examples of recent wedding receptions and parties held at the hall; from 50 people to 100 people. These represent different ways the Hall can be set up for your function.
